Readers Are Saying Below? "So many us in the office are fans of your magazine and keep pushing me "Great review on Seasons 52! We have probably visited them 7-8 times always with great service and food. I actually went there a few weeks after surgery and my guest mentioned that I had just gotten out of the hospital. The server offered to cater my meal to whatever dietary needs I may have. All in all so far our favorite restaurant in the Broward area. Great Job!" "I usually do not respond to reviews, because it is only one persons OPINION. but your review of Alices was so off the charts that I fell on the floor. Alice has not changed the menu in 6 years or more. So I guess if you are coming for a week and eat there 2 times it is OK, but try going once a week, I had the meatloaf sandwich last week and could not even eat it, there was no meat, the bread was cheap, and dry, the potato salad looked like a blob of mayo, (which I used to put back on my sandwich). And I will not even tell you about my experience the week before at dinner for 150.00 (way overpriced), and the service is the worst, and if you complain they just walk away. This is the local consensus of most people that are in the restaurant business here. So this is not just my opinion. Trust me I took a poll. You need to talk about the truly good restaurants, and talk to a few of the locals when you are here." "Thank you for the dining recommendation
for Duo Restaurant in Miami. This miraculous restaurant defies classification,
dubbing its cuisine "modern American." we proclaimed it
a world-class dining destination. In their spare eatery, adorned only
with a massive wine cellar at the end of the floor, Chef Maria Frumkin
is creating a culinary stir. The foie gras with curried pears is divine,
as is the succulent duck breast. We also adored the chocolate-banana
crème brulee for dessert. Great!" -- Andrew
Garcher
"Thank you so much for the article about
your meeting with Arnaud Deville of Domaine de Nizas at DUO Restaurant
& Bar. I am very happy that you enjoyed the wines – sounds
like you had a wonderful evening! I especially like the photos of
both the food and the wines!" "The article on the North
One 10 Soprano dinner was fabulous! Both Dave and I have enjoyed
viewing your website and look forward to trying out some new restaurants."
"I just read your very informative newsletter
(great web site) and also the very nice piece you wrote about our
lunch at Duo last month. Thank you for your compliments on our wines.
I could not agree more with you about the food, this restaurant is
fabulous and the owners both delightful people. It was great to meet
with you and it is nice to be able to keep in touch! I wish you all
the best and hope our paths will cross again in a not too long future!" "Just checked out your site - I like it!! My boyfriend and I eat there all the time. We just ate there Sunday night and saw a movie. What's better than great food, great service and then taking a bottle of wine into a movie! Only in south Florida baby." -- Gina Russo, Model "As a resident of Buffalo, New York, I found
it very interesting to read the BuffaloWings review. Thank you for your time and excellent restaurant reviews."

You seem to have a great deal of fun, dining and writing, and I admire you for founding and creating your Web sites." -- Sharon Levinsohn, Food & Travel Writer "I loved the write up on Chispa...and Mr. Komes (Flora Springs). Could possibly be your best article yet. You wrote with such enthusiasm and passion...the whole article had a sort of 'unisexual, multi culturally seductive appeal'. NICE! ...may I use that phrase some time?" -- Jen Gillie, Hospitality Professional, Delray Beach, Florida |
